Middlesbrough are looking to make a move for Celta Vigo forward Erik Bugarin, according to reports in Spain.
The La Liga club have a number of impressive young players in their Under 17 side and Boro scouts have recommended the 16-year-old as a possible summer signing.
Meanwhile, Stoke City have joined a host of Championship clubs in pursuing Derby County goalkeeper Kelle Roos.
The 26-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season, and that has led to a number of teams, including Bristol City and Hull, to register their interest in the shot-stopper.
Roos has been the understudy to Scott Carson for most of the campaign, but manager Frank Lampard has begun to start the Dutchman since the turn of the year.
Aston Villa are also after a keeper. The Villans have joined Sheffield Wednesday in monitoring CD Aves’s Quentin Beunardeau. The Frenchman moved to Portugal from Metz last July and has impressed in goal.
