Transfer Rumours: Two Boro Stars Linked With PL Moves, Villa Have £8m Offer Rejected And Four Clubs Pursue 25-Goal Striker

Middlesbrough pair Marcus Tavernier and Dael Fry have been linked with moves to the Premier League.

The Northern Echo report that Watford and Aston Villa are interested in signing the winger, while Burnley and Liverpool are keen on the centre-back.

Villa are also interested in Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Etheridge with reports in Wales indicating that the Midlands club have had an £8m bid rejected.

The 29-year-old is keen on a move to the Premier League but the Bluebirds will only consider offers above £10m.

Four clubs are now reportedly interested in signing Brentford forward Neal Maupay. The Frenchman, who scored 25 goals last season, is being pursued by Aston Villa, Norwich, Brighton and Sheffield United.

The striker will not force a move away from the Bees but would be interested in a switch to the Premier League. The Championship club are believed to be demanding £20m to sell the 22-year-old.
