Fulham have joined Sheffield United in pursuing a deal for Middlesbrough’s Britt Assombalonga, according to reports in England.

The Cottagers are looking for possible options if Aleksandar Mitrovic is sold this summer, with West Ham said to be targeting the Serbian striker.

Boro are likely to be open to selling Assombalonga with the Teessiders keen to cut their wage bill after parachute payments from the Premier League ended.

Reports also suggest that Leeds United, Derby County and Swansea City have joined Middlesbrough in the race for Sheraldo Becker.

The ADO Den Haag winger is out of contract following a season where he scored eight goals and made 11 assists in the Dutch top flight.

Aston Villa are reportedly the latest club to take an interest in Charlton’s prolific midfielder Joe Aribo.

Scouts from the Midlands club will be watching the 22-year-old when the Addicks face Sunderland in the League One Playoff final later this month.

Aribo is also believed to be on the watchlist of Southampton, Bournemouth, Arsenal and Manchester City, as well as Rangers and Celtic.
