Darren Randolph

Middlesbrough goalkeeper Darren Randolph could be sold for £10m to a Premier League team this summer, according to reports in the local media.

The Republic of Ireland international has been in superb form this campaign, with many tipping him to be named the club’s player of the year.

However, Boro will be under pressure to half their wage bill in the summer if they don’t get promoted, and Randolph is the club’s most saleable asset.

Norwich are interested in Fulham forward Ryan Babel, reports in Turkey have suggested. The Dutch international will be available on a free transfer in the summer when his six-month contract at Craven Cottage expires.

The 32-year-old has scored four goals and laid on four assists in 14 league games since arriving from Besiktas in January.

Nottingham Forest and Derby County will battle for Wigan winger Gavin Massey, according to reports. The 26-year-old has yet to sign a new deal at the DW Stadium and could leave in July.

Following the Latics’ promotion to the Championship, the midfielder has had a difficult time with injury but has managed five goals in 19 appearances this campaign.
