Round Up: Boro Eye Deal For Eredivisie Star, Sheffield United Prepare Shock £14m Swoop And Leeds Close In On Barca Forward

Middlesbrough are interested in signing ADO Den Haag winger Sheraldo Becker, according to reports in the local media.

The 24-year-old’s current contract with the Eredivisie club expires at the end of the season and he is available on a free transfer this summer.

Becker has performed well this campaign, scoring eight goals and providing 11 assists in 34 appearances for Den Haag, helping the Dutch club to a mid-table finish.

Sheffield United are reportedly planning to raid their city rivals Sheffield Wednesday for striker Fernando Forestieri.

The Blades are looking to strengthen their forward line ahead of their promotion to the Premier League but the Italian could cost as much as £14m to buy.

Reports in Spain believe that Barcelona B winger Rafa Mujica has signed a pre-contract agreement to join Leeds in July.

The winger’s current deal with the Catalan giants expires at the end of the season, with the wide man seemingly poised to make the switch to Elland Road.
