Preston V Middlesbrough: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

After a morale-boosting win at West Brom, Middlesbrough will be high in confidence when they travel to Deepdale for their game against Preston North End tomorrow.

Manager Jonathan Woodgate will have both Paddy McNair and Marcus Browne back from suspension, but he could still be without Britt Assombalonga (ankle), Ryan Shotton (knee), George Friend (groin), Anfernee Dijksteel (knee) and Darren Randolph (thigh).

Middlesbrough’s Predicted XI To Face Preston:

Pears, Howson, Ayala, Fry, Coulson, McNair, Clayton, Wing, Spence, Fletcher, Tavernier

Preston come into the fixture against Boro having not won in their last three games. Manager Alex Neil will be without Louis Moult and Daniel Johnson (knee), but he will be able to welcome back Patrick Bauer following illness. David Nugent is still a doubt due to an eye injury.

Preston’s Predicted XI:

Rudd, Clarke, Davies, Bauer, Hughes, Browne, Harrop, Pearson, Bodin, Maguire, Potts

The bookmakers have Preston as favourites with Unibet pricing them at 9/10 for the win. A draw is 13/5 with Sky Bet while a Middlesbrough victory is currently 7/2 at Betfair.
