Middlesbrough manager Jonathan Woodgate could have Britt Assombalonga back in contention for the game against Stoke City tomorrow night. The 27-year-old has missed the last two games with an ankle injury.

However, Ryan Shotton (knee), George Friend (groin), Anfernee Dijksteel (knee) and Darren Randolph (thigh) are all still out of contention. Both Marcus Browne and Paddy McNair are suspended following their red cards in the 3-1 defeat to Swansea last Saturday.
