Middlesbrough V Derby: Team News, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Middlesbrough manager Jonathan Woodgate will have felt that the club has finally turned a corner after an excellent run of results that have seen him be awarded the manager of the month.

The Boro boss has had to deal with a number of injuries over the past few months, and the likes of Darren Randolph (thigh), George Friend (groin), Ryan Shotton and Anfernee Dijksteel (both knee) are still out for the game against Derby tomorrow.

Daniel Ayala also remains on the sidelines with an ankle injury and Britt Assombalonga (ankle) continues to be a fitness concern with Woodgate saying that he may be available for the game against Fulham in a week’s time.

Middlesbrough’s Predicted XI To Face Derby:

Pears, Spence, Howson, McNair, Fry, Coulson, Saville, Clayton, Roberts, Fletcher, Tavernier

Rams boss Philip Cocu has four players currently out of contention.  George Evans (calf), George Thorne (shoulder), Mason Bennett (ankle) and Ikechi Anya (calf) are all unavailable. However, Graeme Shinnie could return from a hamstring injury.

Derby’s Predicted XI:

Hamer, Wisdom, Davies, Clarke, Lowe, Holmes, Rooney, Huddlestone, Lawrence, Knight, Marriott

The bookmakers have Boro as the favourites with Betfred pricing them at 23/20 to win. A draw is 12/5 with William Hill while a Derby victory is 11/4 at Bet 365.
