Middlesbrough In Three Team Battle To Sign Irish Under 19 Ace

Middlesbrough have sent scouts to watch Bohemian striker Ali Reghba in action, according to reports in the UK.

The 18-year-old has impressed since breaking through into the League of Ireland club’s first team earlier this season.

Reghba made his first senior start against Peterhead in the Scottish Challenge Cup in early September. He then went on to score two goals on his league debut against St Patricks in a 2-1 win later that month.

However, Boro are not the only team reportedly interested in the teenager. Premier League side Wolves see the forward as having a bright future and want to sign the youngster to play in their academy.

Leicester City are also said to be in the hunt for Reghba, despite the Irish Under 19 international only having only made two senior appearances.

The youngster, who is also eligible to play for Algeria, can play up front, as well as on either flank.
