Championship Rumours: Boro Eye £2m Move For Swedish International, Southampton To Launch £14m Bid For Birmingham Ace And Rovers Target Hanley

Middlesbrough are keeping tabs on Ostersund FK winger Hosam Aiesh, according to reports in the UK.

The Swedish international is valued at £2m by his club, but Boro will face competition if they want to land the midfielder.

Ligue One side Amiens, Swiss team Basel and Russian club FC Rostov are all believed to have registered an interest in the 24-year-old.

Southampton are reportedly lining up a £14m offer for Birmingham City forward Che Adams.

The 22-year-old is said to favour a move to the Saints, ahead of Burnley and Everton who are also believed to be keen on the striker. Adams scored 22 goals last season in the Championship.

Blackburn Rovers manager Tony Mowbray has confirmed the club are considering a move for former captain Grant Hanley.

The centre-back is currently at Norwich City but played just ten times in all competitions for the Canaries last campaign. Mowbray thinks the defender may want to move to get more first-team football:

“I don’t know how many games Grant Hanley played last season but I’m sure it wasn’t enough for his liking. He is a player we have talked about but is not at the forefront of our minds.”
