Middlesbrough had to battle their way to three points against Reading last time out, but manager Jonathan Woodgate would have been happy with the resolve that his team showed to grind out a 1-0 win.

Boro face a Cardiff side tomorrow who are unbeaten in their last four games but have drawn their last three in a row. Neil Warnock’s team are always tough to beat at home and the Teessiders will need to be resilient once again.
