Birmingham V Middlesbrough: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

Middlesbrough manager Jonathan Woodgate will be hoping to get back to winning ways when his side travel to St Andrew’s for their game against Birmingham tomorrow night.

Boro’s 1-1 draw against Preston on Tuesday means they haven’t won in three games and the Teessiders now sit 20th in the table after ten games played.

Their opponents are going through a similar rut with the Blues having lost their last three, although they remain three points above Middlesbrough sitting 14th.

Woodgate still has three players missing for the encounter. George Friend (adductor), Hayden Coulson (thigh) and Rudy Gestede (hamstring) all remain unavailable.

Middlesbrough’s Predicted XI To Face Birmingham:

Randolph, Dijksteel, Ayala, Fry, Shotton, McNair, Clayton, Howson, Tavernier, Assombalonga, Fletcher

Birmingham boss Pep Clotet has a number of injury concerns heading into the game. Marc Roberts (hamstring) and Jacques Maghoma (muscular) missed the defeat to Wigan but both are back in contention for tomorrow.

Jefferson Montero (thigh) is out for several weeks while Jonathan Grounds (calf) is still not fit enough for the first team. Maikel Kieftenbeld is out until the New Year with a knee injury.

Birmingham’s Predicted XI:

Camp, Colin, Roberts, Dean, Pedersen, Crowley, Gardner, Sunjic, Maghoma, Jutkiewicz, Alvaro

The bookmakers have Birmingham as favourites and they are 7/5 to win with BetVictor. A draw is 9/4 at Bet365 while a Middlesbrough victory is 23/10 with Betway.

Predicted Score – 1-1
